AAADM provides two Certification Training Program for installers and service technicians as a way to improve and promote safety as well as the technologies available from AAADM member companies. Once you are certified as an AAADM Inspector, you are able to renew your certification each year by completing the online renewal exam and paying the your annual renewal fee. Conditions for SSF Certification:
An individual who has worked in the automatic pedestrian door industry is one who is directly employed by a company in the industry that sells, services, or installs automatic pedestrian doors that comply with ANSI/BHMA A156.10 as its primary business or, a person employed by an AAADM member company or a company with a current distribution agreement with an AAADM Full Member company to sell full power operated doors that comply with ANSI/BHMA A156.10.
Individuals directly employed by end users, including but not limited to the following, are not eligible to be certified: facility maintenance for retail, healthcare, hospitality, education, government, and building owners. These individuals are able to audit the course.
Conditions for Revolver Certification:
An individual who has worked in the revolving door industry is one who is directly employed by a company in the industry that sells, services, or installs revolving doors that comply with ANSI/BHMA A156.27 as its primary business or, a person employed by an AAADM member company or a company with a current distribution agreement with an AAADM Full Member company to sell revolving doors that comply with ANSI/BHMA A156.27.
Individuals directly employed by end users, including but not limited to the following, are not eligible to be certified: facility maintenance for retail, healthcare, hospitality, education, government, and building owners. These individuals are able to audit the course.
